Linux System Administrator Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux system administrator to assume key responsibilities within our organization.

  • Cluster Management: Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide level 3 support for incidents and problems related to OpenShift, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Performance & Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters, implement best practices for resource allocation, and conduct capacity planning.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security policies, ensure compliance with organizational standards, and perform regular security audits.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments using tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the OCP environment, provide training, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
