Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies to ensure the quality of our software products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test plans, cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Develop automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Conduct regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Create and maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Ensure compliance with security and industry standards.
  • Provide test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
