Financial Expertise and Support

This role provides the organization with financial expertise and support. Key areas of responsibility include providing assistance in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate cost records and cost audit compliance, and working independently in a costing department.

Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and implementing budgets and forecasts that meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Cost Management: Ensure accurate cost records and cost audit compliance to maintain the integrity of the organization's financial data.
  • Costing Department Operations: Work independently in a costing department of a large company, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to manage and optimize financial operations.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide financial accounting and management reporting to stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct product-wise costing and margin analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize profitability.
  • Material Recording and Valuations: Ensure control on material recording and valuations to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Data Analytics: Perform costing data analytics to ensure data accuracy for financials and identify trends and insights.
  • Audit and Compliance: Audit and ensure compliance of financial data to regulatory requirements.
  • Transfer Pricing and Segmental Financials: Handle transfer pricing and segmental financials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Accounting Certification: CA / CMA Final or semi-qualified with long experience.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP CO, MM & FI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Finance and Accounting Experience: Experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and systems, including SAP.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills to provide high-quality financial expertise and support to the organization.
