  • We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to work with large data sets, understand stored procedures, and write data-driven automation logic.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Python or Java programming and SQL, and be able to translate stored procedure logic into test automation.
  • They will also be responsible for reading, understanding, and comparing datasets across environments and generating diffs.
  • In addition, they will collaborate with team members, follow structured automation practices, and contribute to building and maintaining a central automation script repository.
  • The Automation Engineer will establish and implement comprehensive QA strategies and test plans from scratch, develop and execute test cases with a focus on Fixed Income trading workflows, and drive the creation of regression test suites for critical back-office applications.
  • They will also collaborate with development, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC, provide clear and concise reporting on QA progress and metrics to management, and bring strong subject matter expertise in the Financial Services Industry, particularly fixed income trading products and workflows.
  • Furthermore, they will ensure effective, efficient, and continuous communication (written and verbally) with global stakeholders, troubleshoot difficult and complex issues on different environments, and take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of projects, coordination between client and internal offshore teams, and managing client queries.
  • Finally, they will demonstrate high attention to detail, work in a dynamic environment while maintaining high quality standards, develop good internal working relationships, and show a flexible work ethic, as well as being responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT).
