  • Developing and optimizing motion planning systems for dynamic obstacle avoidance and trajectory generation.
  • Integrating semantic understanding of environments into navigation systems for enhanced decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of localization techniques, including SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and GNSS-aided navigation.
  • Proficiency in state estimation methods such as Kalman Filters (KF), Extended Kalman Filters (EKF), and Particle Filters.
  • Implementing real-time sensor fusion techniques to ensure robust perception in dynamic environments.
  • Configuring and customizing Autoware modules for specific vehicle platforms.
  • Optimizing Autoware's planning and control algorithms for real-world application.
  • Conducting simulations and real-world tests to validate navigation algorithms under various conditions.
  • Experience with simulation tools like AWSIM, Gazebo or CARLA for testing navigation systems.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams (perception, control, hardware) to ensure system-level integration.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to building a high-performing team.
  • Maintaining detailed technical documentation of algorithms, software architecture, test results, and system configurations.
