Key Roles of a SAP FICO Specialist

SAP FICO consultants play a vital role in configuring, customizing and supporting SAP FI/CO modules. This includes AR, AP, GL, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Project Systems, Electronic Bank Statement and Bank Reconciliation.

They are responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions for the healthcare DME industry, meeting specific requirements for rental billing, revenue recognition, depreciation and cost allocation.

Strong integration expertise is required with FI-MM, FI-SD and equipment rental modules, including Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV).

Our ideal candidate possesses basic SAP ABAP knowledge for debugging, analysis and issue resolution, as well as extensive experience in SAP configuration, testing, documentation and production support for complex system environments.

Prepared and validated test scripts cover various SAP FICO sub-modules.

End-to-end testing for Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report cycles ensures process integrity across modules.

Test defects are logged, analyzed and resolved in coordination with technical teams, ensuring timely closure.

Mock cutover and data validation activities verify system readiness before go-live.

Testing documentation, results and sign-offs comply with audit and project governance standards.

The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience as a SAP FICO resource, subject matter expert in SAP S4 HANA cloud version, and end-to-end implementation experience.

Desirable skills include Product Cost Planning, Product Cost Controlling, COPA, and experience with third-party integration using EDI and IDOCs.
