Academic Leadership Position

About the Role:

The Vice Principal is a strategic academic leader responsible for driving excellence in education and administration within a faculty. This role involves ensuring efficient management of classes, examinations, and training programs, fostering innovation and research, strengthening partnerships, and promoting international collaborations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to department heads and teachers to optimize infrastructure and resource utilization effectively.
  • Oversee timely information distribution among students at the start of each semester/term, covering essential details about studies, examinations, rules, schedules, and guidelines.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for enrollment generation process for newly admitted students.
  • Ensure regular updates on teaching, learning, staff, examination, program, and student data on the university website and MIS.
  • Conduct regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to address challenges in the teaching-learning process and explore solutions.
  • Hold periodic meetings with students to gather feedback on the teaching-learning process and conduct of examinations.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and Dean to prepare for expert committee visits.
  • Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, and symposiums with the Centre for Human Resource Development.
  • Partner with the Admissions Cell to promote the institute's programs through career awareness seminars.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Ph.D. degree
  • Professor/Associate Professor with 15 years of experience in teaching, research, or administration in universities, colleges, or higher education institutions.
