Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to support our team in managing and maintaining high-performance Oracle databases on UNIX/Linux platforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Administer and support multiple Oracle databases for performance-critical systems
  • - Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, monitor, and administer production databases
  • - Troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure and implement scalable solutions
  • - Manage multiple requirements and prioritize tasks effectively
  • - Gather requirements, assess, and recommend solutions to ensure high availability and stability
  • - Design and maintain database security to meet regulatory standards
  • - Automate routine DBA processes using scripting knowledge

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 10-14 years of experience in database administration
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts, performance tuning skills, OEM expertise, SQL query tuning, RMAN backup recovery, RAC databases management, patching, standby databases, troubleshooting clusterware environments, and scripting knowledge
  • Exadata Experience: Desirable
