Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle DBA with extensive experience in managing large database estates, implementing high availability solutions, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12C, 18c, and 19C database administration, including installation, configuration, and management of ASM instances.
  • High Availability Solutions: Design and implementation of RAC, Golden Gate, and Dataguard for ensuring database uptime and minimizing downtime.
  • Migration and Upgrades: Plan and execute major migrations and upgrades, including hardware tech refresh (host to host database move) and database refresh, re-org, backup using RMAN and 3rd party tools.
  • Performance Tuning: Periodic database instance performance review and tuning recommendation, defining performance benchmarks and metrics.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to L2 and L1 DBA, implement and periodic check on automation and DB security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Proven track record of successful high availability solution implementation.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
