Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing critical software infrastructure for distributed large-scale multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills and experience with cloud technologies, including containers, Docker, Kubernetes, etcd, ZooKeeper, service meshes, Vault, Istio, and Envoy. Additionally, they will have strong programming experience with Go, C/C++, Java, or Python, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and enforce standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for large-scale distributed cloud-native solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with 2+ years of experience building cloud environments.
  • Excellent Unix/Linux experience and programming experience with Go, C/C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong background in cloud environments: containers, Docker, Kubernetes, etcd, ZooKeeper, service meshes, Vault, Istio, and Envoy.
  • Experience with databases, general understanding of ACID, consistency, SQL/NoSQL, key-value stores, time series, and columnar databases.
  • Experience in CI/CD, using tools like Drone, GitHub, Makefiles, etc.
  • Experience with in-memory databases like Redis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bonus points for experience with Node.js Express to build REST API services.
