**Job Title:** Program Officer

 

The role of the Program Officer is to ensure the effective implementation of prevention services. This involves overseeing projects in the field, educating children about personal safety skills and conducting awareness sessions with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement Prevention projects on the field, teaching children personal safety skills from 6-18 years in schools and conducting Awareness sessions on child sexual abuse with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Document field experiences in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to operational protocol, including timely reporting of field activities to coordinators, and ensure regular reviews with Coordinator and Manager, Prevention Services.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Graduation/Post-graduation in Education, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields.
  • Experience in group work with children and adolescents, conducting sessions and facilitating discussions.

 

Desirable Attributes:

 

  • Ability to work in a large team.
  • Creative and child-friendly.
  • Open to extensive local travel.
  • Multilingual with fluency in English.
