IAM Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) professional to join our team as an IAM Security Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Okta Identity Cloud platform for secure identity lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage Okta workflows, policies, and logs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Implement and manage identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
  • Integrate new applications into Okta using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and user provisioning issues across various integrated systems.
  • Maintain documentation for Okta configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay up to date with IAM industry trends and Okta platform updates and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with Security, HR, and IT teams to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support security audits and compliance efforts (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience administering Okta Identity Cloud.
  • Proficiency with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows, API integrations, and automation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
