Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cell Culture Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting upstream process development, scale-up, and characterization for monoclonal antibody manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in one of the following areas: Omics technologies, Bioprocess modeling, or Computational Fluid Dynamics.

  1. Support process development, scale-up, and characterization for mAb manufacturing, ensuring scalability and robustness of processes.
  2. Develop and establish efficient processes to meet product yield and quality requirements.
  3. Evaluate risk and implement mitigation strategies during process development and scale-up.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss technical aspects of process development, technology transfer, and improvement.
  5. Participate in technology transfer activities, coordinating with program management and cross-functional teams to deliver on program timelines.
  6. Stay updated on the latest scientific advancements and apply statistical knowledge using QbD and DOE concepts in upstream development.
  7. Analyze data thoroughly to assess upstream performance and support technical decisions.
  8. Record and review raw data according to GDP principles, preparing work presentations, technical documents, and procedures.
  9. Ccoordinate lab activities within and across teams for smooth functioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Technical expertise in one of the following areas: Omics technologies – Metabolomics, Metabolic Flux Analysis, Bioprocess modeling – Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactor or cells, or CFD – Computational fluid dynamics to simulate bioreactor mixing.
  • A recent PhD degree is preferred but not mandatory.
