Data Architecture Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Architecture Specialist to join our team. As a Data Architecture Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, and Airflow.
  • Leverage AWS services like S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, EMR, Athena, and Lake Formation.
  • Write and optimize Python code for data processing and automation (PySpark experience preferred).
  • Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Implement data modeling, warehousing, and governance best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and cost of data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in data architecture on AWS.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and AWS data services.
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server and other databases.
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Step Functions and Airflow.
  • Solid understanding of data lakes, warehousing, and ETL/ELT methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
