IT Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic IT Infrastructure Manager with over 18 years of hands-on experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure environments.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, security, and maintenance of the enterprise's IT infrastructure, including networks, data centers, cloud environments, servers, storage systems, end-user computing, and disaster recovery solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, people leadership skills, and proven experience in infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and service delivery in complex, global enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the infrastructure roadmap in alignment with business goals and IT strategy.

- Drive digital transformation through infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, and automation.

- Oversee IT budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and cost optimization.

- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of all infrastructure services, including data centers, networking, server environments, storage, and backup systems.

- Manage hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environments, with focus on high availability and business continuity.

- Oversee system administration, patch management, and endpoint device lifecycle.

- Lead initiatives for cloud adoption (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and migration from legacy systems.

- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and optimize cloud resource utilization.

- Implement and enforce enterprise security protocols in coordination with cybersecurity teams.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)

- Oversee access controls, identity management, and incident response.

- Lead and mentor a diverse team of IT professionals, including system admins, network engineers, and support staff.

- Foster cross-functional collaboration with application, DevOps, InfoSec, and business teams.

- Ensure SLAs are met for infrastructure availability, support, and issue resolution.

- Set up monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.

- Maintain documentation and regular reporting on performance, uptime, and capacity planning.

- Build strong vendor relationships and manage outsourced IT services or MSPs.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- ITIL, PMP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.

- 18+ years of IT experience with at least 57 years in an infrastructure leadership role.

- Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure operations across distributed global environments.

- Strong background in data center management, networking, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), virtualization, and security protocols.

- Networking : LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)

- Cloud : AWS / Azure / GCP (design, migration, cost control)

- Virtualization : VMware, Hyper-V

- Storage & Backup : SAN/NAS, backup solutions (Commvault, Veeam)

- Tools : ServiceNow, SolarWinds, SCCM, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting
