Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and articulate professional to lead the analysis and delivery process in our Retail Banking team. As a Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for managing client projects, supporting clients' strategic decisions through syndicated benchmarking and market research.

The successful candidate will contribute to revenue growth, innovation, and project delivery. You will work closely with clients, including C-suite executives, to guide strategic decisions using insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end client projects, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative datasets.
  • Interpret market trends to identify patterns, extract insights, and highlight emerging opportunities.
  • Lead client and internal meetings effectively, addressing questions/queries using data and content expertise.
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions through proprietary tools, rigorous analysis, and customized reports or presentations.

Requirements

Candidates must be based in Gurgaon. To be considered for this role, you should have a strong Master's degree, preferably in an analytical or quantitative subject.

You should also have 5+ years' work experience, ideally in benchmarking, research, or business analysis. Some sector experience in financial services, consultancy, or market research preferred, particularly retail banking.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in Alteryx, Python, Tableau, or PowerBI is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interrogate, interpret, evaluate, and model data to extract insights and answer clients' queries.

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Engaging presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to run client meetings and handle difficult client situations.
  • Project management of high-value products, including time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to handle data and information sensitively and confidentially.
