Job Title: Venture Capital Fund Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our venture capital fund as an associate. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing investment team, working closely with the managing director and other senior team members.

About the Role:
  • This is an entry-level position that provides hands-on experience in deal sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, portfolio support, market research, and fund operations.
  • You will have direct exposure to startup ecosystems, networks, and investors, and the opportunity to grow into an Investment Manager role within 2–3 years.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Sourcing: Identify potential investments through networking, events, inbound leads, accelerators, and referrals.
  • Evaluation of Investments: Analyze business models, financials, traction, and scalability of potential investments.
  • Due Diligence: Support legal, financial, and compliance checks on shortlisted startups.
  • Portfolio Support: Work with portfolio companies on fundraising, growth strategy, and performance tracking.
  • Market Research: Conduct deep dives into sectors, prepare market maps, and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Fund Operations: Assist with investment memos, reporting to Limited Partners, and internal fund documentation.
  • Ecosystem Building: Represent the fund at startup events, demo days, and founder meetings.
Requirements:
  • Completed or Ongoing Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 6-12 Months of experience in VC, PE, consulting, investment banking, or startup strategy.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Strong networking skills and prior built-up network.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean team environment.
