Role Overview

The Genesys Cloud Contact Center Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing and maintaining the Genesys Cloud platform. This position requires extensive experience with Genesys solutions and an in-depth understanding of contact center operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Engineering: Collaborate with suppliers to establish standards and blueprints ensuring new functionality aligns with these documents.
  • Operational Management: Manage operational runs, enhancements and platform changes while supporting incident and problem management.
  • Supplier Governance: Monitor and manage supplier delivery to ensure they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
  • IT Stakeholder Engagement: Support integrations, governance processes and architecture/design with internal IT stakeholders.
  • Global Collaboration: Engage with country representatives sharing knowledge and best practices while serving as a technical escalation resource.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Genesys Cloud contact center solutions including Genesys Cloud Architect and workforce engagement/management tools.
  • Genesys Certified Professional (GCP) or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing contact center solutions.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency in Genesys Cloud tools including Architect and Agent Scripter.
  • Experience with JSON, RegEx and restful API/web services.
  • Ability to design, create and manage table-driven and dynamic workflows.
