Travel API Integration Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel API Integration Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing API integrations and driving continuous optimisation with both clients and suppliers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end API integrations with new and existing partners, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support integration processes across all phases.
  • Define, document, and communicate integration requirements clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain and enhance integration roadmaps for key clients and suppliers.
  • Monitor and assess integration performance, identifying areas for improvement and leading optimisation efforts.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications using project management tools.
  • Provide post-integration support, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Participate in business travel for partner visits or events as required.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in API-based systems and experience working with REST/JSON/XML protocols. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering end-to-end API integrations within the travel technology sector.
  • Strong experience working with API-based systems and understanding of REST/JSON/XML protocols.
  • Solid grasp of project management principles and proficiency with project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous integrations and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – in English.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly organised and self-motivated.
