As part of this effort, the Office of the CTO (OCTO) focuses on top technical customer priorities designated by the Asia Leadership team, often requiring curation across multiple time horizons.
">About the Role
">We are seeking an exceptional technologist to join our OCTO Area Engineering team as the Arena Engineering Lead (Technical Program Manager) for India. In this role, you will work directly with Area Leadership and across Microsoft to tackle high-priority technical issues affecting customer adoption, deployment, consumption, and ACR.
">Main Responsibilities
">Your key responsibilities will include unblocking complex technical challenges in collaboration with teams such as Global Customer Success, accelerating key initiatives like AI Design Wins, Security, and Proactive Resiliency, increasing Technical IQ through thought leadership and coaching, and strategic orchestration with Engineering. You will also serve as a senior technical advisor to the LT at the Area level.
">Key Qualifications
">To succeed in this role, you should have a thorough understanding of Microsoft's AI and cloud strategies and capabilities, as well as familiarity with first and third-party AI offerings. Experience in orchestrating across matrixed organizations, including senior levels within an organization, is also essential. Additionally, excellent interpersonal, group dynamic, and customer-facing communication skills are required, including the ability to communicate effectively at a C-suite level.
">Desirable Skills and Qualifications
">Prior experience in formal or informal leadership positions, knowledge of the competitive environment for Microsoft in the region, and experience in Azure Open AI, Fabric, Cloud-scale solution architecture, or software development are highly valued. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
