We are a leading provider of data engineering services, and we are currently seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect Leader to join our team.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000 - $350,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

As a Cloud Data Architect Leader at HS Solutions Inc., you will be responsible for providing technical direction and leading a team of developers to address strategic goals. Your primary focus will be on architecting and designing solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

You will create and review architecture and solution design artifacts, evangelize re-use through the implementation of shared assets, and enforce adherence to architectural standards and principles.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud data engineering services, including Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will also have strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Designing the E2E architecture of unified data platforms covering all aspects of the data lifecycle
  • Excellent coding skills in Python or Scala, preferably Python
  • Experience in data engineering domain with total years of experience
  • Designed and implemented at least 2-3 project end-to-end in Databricks
  • Experience on various Databricks components
  • Knowledge of new features available in Databricks and its implications along with various possible use cases
  • Followed various architectural principles to design best-suited per problem
  • Well-versed with Databricks Lakehouse concept and its implementation in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and various governance and security standards around Databricks
  • Knowledge of cluster optimization and its integration with various cloud services
  • Good understanding to create complex data pipelines
  • Strong in SQL and spark-sql
  • Extensive knowledge of Spark and Hive data processing framework
  • Worked on any cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and most common services like ADLS/S3, ADF/Lambda, CosmosDB/DynamoDB, ASB/SQS, Cloud databases
  • Strong in writing unit test cases and integration tests
  • Responsible to set best practices around Databricks CI/CD
  • Understand composable architecture to take fullest advantage of Databricks capabilities
  • Experience around DevSecOps including Docker and Kubernetes
