  News Editor

As a key figure in our newsroom, the News Editor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of articles published daily.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish 18-20 articles daily, maintaining high standards.
  • Fact-check articles to ensure accuracy and value to readers.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate content.
  • Mentor writers to help them grow and evolve as contributors.
  • Stay on top of breaking news to ensure timely publication.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Media/Journalism, or similar discipline.
  • 6-12 months experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or similar role.
  • Strong command of English language and understanding of American culture.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of writers.
