Financial Operations Specialist

As a vital component of our financial operations, this role plays a pivotal part in driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and control plant profit & loss statements, variance reports, and cost reduction initiatives to ensure accurate financial data and informed decision-making.
- Drive monthly and annual financial closures in alignment with corporate budgeting to meet deadlines and achieve financial objectives.
- Handle product costing (BOM-based), COGS/COGM, standard vs. actual cost analysis to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Own capital expenditure, resource management, and operating expense budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to provide timely insights and support business planning.
- Drive value engineering and cost optimization & material accounting to reduce costs and improve productivity.
- Monitor and control plant inventory (resource management, work-in-progress, finished goods, spares) to minimize waste and maximize resources.
- Implement inventory reduction strategies in coordination with controls to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Drive SAP-based reporting, automation, and controls (FICO/MM/SD modules) to enhance financial management and decision-making.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead automation/efficiency projects to drive innovation and growth.
- Work closely with production, quality, supply chain management, human resources, and engineering teams to provide finance inputs for new product launches, capital expenditure proposals, and vendor selection.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of product costing, plant accounting, and management information systems to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Expertise in SAP (FICO/MM), Microsoft Excel, financial dashboards to drive financial management and decision-making.
- Experience in working in a multi-plant, high-speed manufacturing setup to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and leadership skills to drive growth, innovation, and collaboration.
Qualification: Chartered Accountant/ Certified Management Accountant with 1-6 years of experience.
