Medical Coding Associate Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals to play a critical role in efficient healthcare delivery by translating medical diagnoses, procedures, and services into standardized coding systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Review patient medical records to assign accurate codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coding Standards: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines to ensure precise translation of medical data.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify medical data while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Productivity and Quality: Meet productivity and quality standards set by the organization.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as BHMS, B.Pharma, BDS, BAMS, B.Tech/B.E. (Biotech/Biomedical), BVSc, MBBS, or B.Sc (Food Tech, Optometry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, Chemistry).
  • Postgraduate Degree: MVSc, M.Pharma, M.Tech (Biotech/Biomedical), MDS, or M.Sc (Food Tech, Biotechnology, Organic Chemistry, Optometry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, Zoology, Veterinary Science).
