Job Title: Staff Engineer, ASIC Development Engineering

Western Digital is seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our ASIC Development Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing NAND/SoC models using C/C++/SystemC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain NAND/SoC models using C/C++/SystemC
  • Test and verify the models to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into the design flow
  • Design and implement DFT and MBIST solutions to improve test coverage and efficiency
  • Work with the ASIC modeling team to develop and maintain the SoC models
Requirements:
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in DFT implementation and verification
  • Experience in MBIST implementation and verification
  • Strong DFT/MBIST fundamentals
  • Good understanding of C/C++/SystemC programming languages
  • Experience with pattern validation flows, zero/unit delay, and SDF-based solutions
  • Good to have: PERL/TCL Scripting/Python, usage of assertions for monitoring clock frequencies and other test-related registers, yield analysis and improvement flow, understanding of CLP constructs and multi-voltage, multi-power design
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BE/Btech/Mtech/ME degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Self-motivated and self-driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow
