Business Valuation Associate

Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Business Valuation Associate to join our team. As a key member of the business valuation team, you will be responsible for conducting complex financial analysis and providing high-quality advisory services to clients.
  • Your primary activities will focus on the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for various purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and financial reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field is required; advanced degree and/or certifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA would be preferable.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • A fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and experience in traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and transactional method.
  • Experience in valuing contingent consideration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other high-level tools.
  • Track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects and delivering under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated technical skills working with financial models in Excel.
  • Ability to travel (if required).
