Job Title: Application Packaging Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Application Packaging Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, testing, and releasing software within customer environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application packaging, including experience with various tools and technologies such as MSI and MSIX frameworks, Windows 11, and AD Group Policies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Packaging applications using available setup commands and scripting.
  • Repackaging and customizing setup applications using tooling like InstallShield and RayPack.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to application installations.
  • Liaising with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as needed.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in ITIL-based operations environments using ITSM toolsets like ServiceNow. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in application packaging, as well as contribute to the success of our customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Windows 11 and AD Group Policies expertise.
  • Intermediate-level PowerShell Scripting and basic VB scripting skills for automating application installations.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family focusing on application creation/integration and deployment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.

Preferred Skills:

We are looking for candidates who have experience in preparing Citrix environment applications, Microsoft Certifications (MD-100, MD-101, MD-102), and international work experience. Supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously is highly valued.
