Health Club Associate Role

Delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment requires a unique blend of skills and qualities. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who can effectively communicate with guests and colleagues alike, ensuring a seamless experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service focus by anticipating the needs of guests and taking proactive steps to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Take ownership of resolving problems clearly communicating with both guests and colleagues.
  • Be flexible and responsive to changing requirements and tasks assigned.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance operational procedures and facilities.
  • Stay vigilant and responsible at all times.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently.
  • Ensure guests have a comfortable and safe experience, and employees can work in a safe environment.
  • Meet greet and bid farewell to all guests with a warm friendly and genuine smile.
  • Assist and explain to guests the use of all Health Club facilities, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
  • Check and ensure the audio-visual equipment are well maintained, stock and supplies are replenished adequately, and all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.
  • Ensure the opening and closing procedures of the Health Club are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
  • Clean headsets and headset sponges after each guest's use.
  • Read understand and acknowledge the Health Club communications book daily.
  • Ensure all guests sign in and out when using the facilities.
  • Actively introduce guests to the hotel's Spa and Health Club membership cards.
  • Address all malfunctioning equipment, issue work orders for maintenance as needed, and perform other related duties.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to stand walk and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Proficiency in operating gym equipment and swimming.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and manage stressful situations during peak periods.
