Job Description

As a compassionate and skilled caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their daily activities. Your duties will include assisting patients with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, as well as ensuring their surroundings are clean and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Care Assistance: Provide support to patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  2. Basic Nursing Support: Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
  3. Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain patient rooms, beds, and surroundings in a clean state while following hygiene and infection control protocols.
  4. Support to Medical/Nursing Staff: Assist in preparing patients for examinations or procedures and transport samples, equipment, or patients within the facility.
  5. Feeding & Medication Support: Support patients with feeding as per diet plans and ensure timely medication administration under supervision.
  6. Documentation Assistance: Maintain patient records and update nursing logs when required.
  7. Emergency Response: Provide immediate support during emergencies such as CPR, ICU transfers, or evacuations.
  8. Waste Management: Safely segregate and dispose of medical and general waste as per protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, empathy, and a willingness to learn. You must also possess basic knowledge of nursing principles and practices.

Additionally, you should have experience working in healthcare settings and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
