Job Title: Data Engineer

Brillio is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PySpark, Advanced SQL, and ETL testing, with hands-on experience using Databricks for pipeline creation or migration.

Candidates with a background in either Azure or AWS will be given preference. This role offers a hybrid working environment, combining the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks, focusing on data migration and pipeline creation.
  • Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to support data processing, transformation, and validation tasks.
  • Perform comprehensive ETL testing to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data workflows.
  • Work with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) to deploy and manage data solutions, leveraging the strengths of each platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data processes, pipelines, and testing procedures.

Key Skills:

  • Primary Skills: PySpark, Advanced SQL, ETL Testing (Databricks)
  • Cloud Experience: Azure or AWS (preferred)
  • Additional Skills: Experience in data migration and pipeline creation

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on PySpark, SQL, and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, particularly in creating and migrating data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
