Job Title : QA Lead

Location : Bangalore , Pune

Experience : 5 to 8 years

We are seeking an experienced QA Specialist/Tester with expertise in Databricks, Spark/PySpark, and Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and performance of ETL processes, Power BI reports, and SQL queries. You will play a key role in validating data pipelines, reporting solutions, and database operations to meet business requirements and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- ETL Testing : Test and validate ETL processes using Databricks or other tools to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Power BI Reporting : Develop and execute test plans for Power BI reports, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.

- SQL Validation : Validate SQL queries, ensuring data integrity, optimal performance, and alignment with business needs.

- Data Pipeline Validation : Test and validate data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy across different systems.

- Performance Testing : Conduct performance testing to ensure ETL processes, SQL queries, and reporting solutions operate efficiently under various conditions.

- Collaboration : Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test plans and scenarios.

- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and any defects found during testing.

Must-Have Skills :

- Expertise in ETL Testing using Databricks or similar tools.

- Strong experience with Spark/PySpark for data processing and validation.

- Proficiency in Azure cloud services, particularly in data-related services.

- Strong SQL skills for query validation and data integrity checks.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience in testing Power BI reports.

- Familiarity with other BI tools and reporting solutions.

- Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies.

Educational Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
