Job Title:

Wet Etch Equipment Specialist

The primary function of this role is to perform maintenance and repair of advanced wet etching equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This involves comprehensive knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed understanding of wet etch equipment operations, including the implementation of process parameters and adjustments to optimize tool performance.
  • Able to perform root cause analysis using methodologies like 4D or Fishbone diagrams to resolve complex tool issues.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming languages, such as Mitsubishi or Omron, is an added advantage for efficient automation integration.
  • Adept at working safely and maintaining good housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Experience in handling various sub-systems, including CDS, DI heaters, Ozone generators, and chillers.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment maintenance is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with proficiency in problem-solving and analytical techniques.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Prior experience with SMIF systems and familiarity with Assyst software would be beneficial.
