Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to drive the development of next-generation automotive audio systems.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the HW architecture and component selection/decision for the next generation automotive audio system. This includes selecting and recommending next-generation semiconductor solutions, designing and developing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems, ensuring high-quality sound and seamless integration with vehicle technology.

  • Responsibilities include working closely with vehicle Architecture/system Design, safety engineer & Buyer/purchasing to ensure chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements of applications.
  • Technical expertise in recommending and proposing right electronic audio components, including Audio amplifiers, Microphone interface/Audio ADC, Audio DSP, Audio power circuitry/PMIC, Speaker interface, Digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc), working knowledge on ANC (Active noise cancellation) and RNC (Road noise cancellation) design.
  • Familiarity with relevant automotive safety and quality standards, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.

Requirements:

  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural role.
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment system, Audio system, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems and ECU design, development, and testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive area (OEM, TIER1, TIER2).
  • Understanding and knowledge of Board software/Bring up software, Audio DSP and MCUs.
