Design Engineer

Key responsibilities for this position include creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Requirements
  • A strong technical background in sheet metal design and fabrication processes is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, rendering) is necessary.
  • The ability to prepare development drawings, exploded views, and assembly drawings is essential.
  • Understanding of tolerances, GD&T, welding symbols, and material specifications is crucial.
  • Good visualization and problem-solving skills are required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred specialization: Sheet Metal / Design).
Experience
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in sheet metal design and fabrication industry.
  • Experience in commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration equipment, or similar stainless steel fabrication industries is an added advantage.
Technical Requirements

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
