Job Title: Entertainment Public Relations Associate

We're seeking an experienced professional to manage the public relations and client servicing for high-profile Entertainment clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, formulating monthly plans, strategizing events and activities, and cultivating relationships with media, influencers, and bloggers.

  • Manage a portfolio of high-profile clients with confidence and maturity.
  • Serve as the primary representative of the firm to clients, media, and vendor partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and media contacts.
  • Take full ownership of client accounts, ensuring you are fully informed on all relevant client details.
  • Handle media interactions, prepare pitch notes, and proactively monitor opportunities for client placements
  • Review and finalize all client documentation, including press releases, plans, and reports, in collaboration with your supervisor.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all deadlines and client deliverables.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and insights through various channels.

The role involves representing both the client and the firm in all interactions with media and influencers, analyzing trends in traditional and digital media to identify new opportunities for client exposure, monitoring and analyzing media coverage of your clients, and conducting regular outreach to media and influencers, fostering positive relationships.

You will also ensure all client documentation is of the highest quality and free of errors, develop content ranging from press releases, press notes, press snippets, listicles, spokesperson's responses, speeches, authored articles based on and accurately reflecting the brand's editorial messaging, objective, brand image, services, and offerings.

In addition, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of visual communications, social media, and the digital landscape, integrating these channels into client programs effectively, stay informed on emerging digital trends and technologies, applying them to client strategies as appropriate.

The successful candidate will have identified and pursued opportunities for client partnerships, sponsorships, and events on an ongoing basis.

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in PR preferably in the Entertainment industry
