We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at Material Depot. As a trusted advisor to our leadership, you will play a crucial role in driving financial growth, ensuring compliance, and making strategic decisions that impact our business.

About the Role:
  • Oversee end-to-end accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, payroll, and other related tasks to optimize cash flow and minimize risks.
  • Ensure seamless compliance with tax laws, statutory audits, and internal audit procedures.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to inform business decisions.
What We're Looking For:
  • A qualified/inter Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of experience in similar roles, preferably in small-medium sized companies or technology start-ups.
  • Prior experience working in e-commerce accounting is highly valued.
  • A strong track record of building finance functions from scratch and adapting to ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills to engage stakeholders and convey complex concepts clearly.
  • A collaborative mindset, open to feedback, and eager to learn and grow with our company.
