Job Title: Automated Test Engineer - Murex

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced automated test engineer with a strong background in Murex testing to fill this challenging role. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of overall experience in Murex testing, hands-on experience in automation tools, and a solid understanding of architecture and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Interfaces, etc.).
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
  • Track defects, log issues, and retest in coordination with development teams.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles.
  • Evaluate compliance with testing standards and best practices.
  • Provide regular progress updates.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of overall experience in Murex testing.
  • Hands-on experience in automation Tools.
  • A deep understanding of architecture and workflows (FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) for automation.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar).
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
