Job Title: Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute their expertise in automated test coverage, test automation program guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of QA automation experience, particularly in SaaS platforms, and be proficient in automated test tools like Selenium and Cypress.

The successful candidate will work closely with the product and engineering teams to develop and maintain automated tests, provide expert guidance on test automation best practices, and ensure seamless integration with existing testing frameworks.

In addition to technical expertise, the selected individual will possess excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve automated test coverage in Selenium and Cypress
  • Provide guidance to the engineering team for their test automation program
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams in specification and test plan
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of QA automation experience, especially SaaS platforms
  • Experience with automated test tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
  • Extremely detail-oriented with superb troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies - JavaScript, AJAX, HTML 5, CSS
  • Experience with bug/defect tracking tools such as Jira, Redmine, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Experience with Git or other SCM
  • Experience with Linux (bash)
  • Bachelor's degree in software related field a plus
  • Knowledge of Ruby and testing RoR applications a plus
  • Experience with AI-driven automation a big plus
