RV University seeks a Laboratory Instructor to support teaching, training, and skill development of students enrolled in Allied and Healthcare programs.

The instructor will assist faculty members in delivering practical sessions, maintaining lab safety, and ensuring the availability and calibration of lab equipment.

  • Responsibilities include conducting and supervising laboratory sessions for undergraduate students, assisting in preparation, demonstration, and evaluation of practical skills, maintaining laboratory equipment, inventory, and ensuring timely calibration and servicing.
  • Additional responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, infection control measures, and proper waste disposal practices, collaborating with academic faculty to align laboratory content with theoretical components of the course, providing technical support to students during skill development and internal assessments.
  • The ideal candidate will participate in curriculum review and development of new laboratory manuals, maintain documentation for laboratory sessions, stock registers, and compliance audits, and facilitate internal and external practical examinations and simulations.

Educational qualifications required are a Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in relevant Allied and Healthcare field from a recognized university. A Master's Degree or additional certifications is an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum two years of relevant experience in a laboratory/clinical setting or academic institution. Prior experience in academic instruction is an added advantage.

Required skills include proficiency in handling laboratory equipment, strong communication and instructional skills, familiarity with regulatory standards, and basic computer literacy for academic documentation and report generation.
