Cost Accountant and Business Analyst

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the budgeting process, managing financial data in MIS systems, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Close books on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis
- Prepare product cost sheets
- Run monthly cost reports in SAP and manage funds effectively
- Monitor inventory levels daily, weekly, and monthly
- Prepare bucket-wise inventory ageing reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Coordinate and monitor budget preparation
- Generate MIS reports, including budget vs actual comparisons, on a fixed schedule
- Provide ad hoc reports as needed by management
- Maintain book hygiene and ensure accurate documentation for audits
- Interact with internal teams (operations, business development, commercial) and external teams (banking, corporate finance, ABEX)
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Budgeting and financial management expertise
- Proficiency in MIS systems and SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred candidate profile: Budgeting, MIS, Audit, SBU Accounting, Planning, and Monitoring of CAPEX
