Digital Content Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile Technical Content Writer to serve as an integral part of our Marketing & Communications team.

This role plays a crucial part in shaping the way we communicate complex technical concepts and digital solutions to a diverse audience.

In this position, you will be instrumental in creating clear, engaging, and informative content that reflects our expertise and innovative spirit in the digital services domain.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into clear and accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on technical topics to ensure accuracy and relevance of the content. This includes understanding product specifications, exploring technical documents, and staying updated with industry trends.
• Write, edit, and proofread technical documents such as user manuals, white papers, product descriptions, how-to guides, and blog posts. Ensure that the content is clear, concise, and tailored to the intended audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to develop a content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and user needs. This may involve content planning, topic selection, and scheduling.
• Incorporate search engine optimization (SEO) best practices in the content to enhance online visibility and reach. This includes keyword research, meta descriptions, and SEO-friendly headings.
• Ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all written materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand complex technical concepts and digital solutions.
• Create content that enhances the user experience, making complex technical information accessible and engaging for the target audience. Create clear, engaging, and informative written content, including articles, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social media posts, and website copy.
• Develop scripts for video content, including product demonstrations, tutorials, and promotional videos.
• Ensure all content adheres to the brand voice, guidelines, and messaging strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical communication.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, including technical staff, marketing teams, and end-users, to continuously improve the content quality.
• Collaborate with designers and multimedia specialists to integrate relevant graphics, videos, and interactive elements into the content.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years
• Proven experience as a technical writer, content writer, or similar role, in the technology or digital services industry.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into clear and accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in scripting and storytelling for video content production.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstration of technical writing skills with topic and asset creation to be expected - Share written assessments within 24-48 hours of receiving them.
