Oracle DBA & EBS Applications Specialist

This is a high-level position that requires expertise in Oracle DBA and EBS applications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, including patching, backups, cloning, and upgrades.

The role also involves managing and supporting Oracle EBS (R12), WebLogic, SOA Suite (12c), OAM, and ORDS configurations. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with Rimini Street Support for EBS patching, including clustered deployments.

The successful candidate will have experience in configuring and monitoring Oracle DataGuard (HA & DR) and working with Oracle Platinum Support for Exadata patching. Maintaining ongoing SOX compliance and enforcing database access controls are also essential responsibilities.

Collaboration with development teams during release cycles and troubleshooting performance issues are key aspects of this role. Monitoring database performance using OEM, STAT, Spotlight, and custom scripts is also crucial.

Required Skills:

  • Expert-level Oracle DBA experience (Oracle 12c/19c)
  • Strong EBS R12 administration (including ASCP and custom modules)
  • Hands-on experience in WebLogic, SOA Suite, Oracle OAM, ORDS
  • Oracle DataGuard and GoldenGate experience
  • Familiarity with Oracle ODI, STAT, SRM, and Oracle OAM-based SSO
  • Experience in HA/DR planning, storage replication
  • SOX compliance and auditing best practices
