We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – QA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software releases through a combination of manual and automated testing practices.

The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a strong focus on test case creation, automation frameworks, and defect management.

Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA team members during Agile sprints to define, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies.

Design and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and functional requirements.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Java and Cucumber BDD.

Perform database testing and write complex SQL queries to validate backend data integrity.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

Stay up to date with evolving testing methodologies and tools to improve test effectiveness.

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Strong experience in manual testing and ability to think from the end-user perspective.

At least 2+ years of Experience in test automation using Selenium (Java) and Cucumber BDD framework.

Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience with GitHub for version control.

Working knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing.

Hands-on experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).

Experience using PractiTest or similar test management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
