About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Medical Coder to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for accurately assigning codes for diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Code Review and Interpretation: You will review and interpret complex reports to assign accurate codes for procedures and diagnoses.
  • Coding Standards: You must ensure compliance with ACR, CMS, NCCI, payer-specific rules, and LCD/NCD policies.
  • Coding Tools: You will utilize coding tools and systems to efficiently complete tasks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional radiology coding, preferably with CPC or CIRCC certification.
  • Familiarity with radiology workflow, RIS/PACS systems, and coding tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.
