Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our tax team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in reviewing and preparing complex tax returns for clients.

  • You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative team environment and providing guidance to junior colleagues.

You will work closely with the tax team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tax returns. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Displaying a deep understanding of moderate and advanced tax concepts, including partnership and corporate tax returns.
  • Enhancing your knowledge of tax theory and principles through client work and staying up-to-date with tax developments.
  • Training and mentoring junior colleagues to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Assisting the team in tax research and applying tax theory and principles to fulfill client requirements.
  • Fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

You will also be required to:

  • Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
  • Manage and lead a team effectively, with minimal assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Preparation: Prepare complex tax returns for clients, including partnership and corporate tax returns.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative team environment, provide guidance to junior colleagues, and manage teams effectively.
  • Tax Research: Conduct tax research and apply tax theory and principles to fulfill client requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3-6 years of experience in US Corporate taxation (1065/1120).
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and coaching/mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
