Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team.

About the Role:

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for coordinating with vendors regarding payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations. This includes updating the supplier reconciliation portal, coordinating with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals, and preparing weekly AP reports.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Financial Accountant will review vendor reconciliations performed by AA, chase W9 from vendors, and prepare 1099 workings. Other key tasks include tax return reconciliation, reviewing sales entries on a weekly basis, and preparing CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Commerce degree and strong interpersonal skills. They should also possess effective English communication skills, be a team player, and able to work under stringent deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with vendors regarding payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Update the supplier reconciliation portal.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals.
  • Prepare weekly AP reports, process vendor payments, and allocate them in books.
  • Review vendor reconciliations performed by AA.
  • Chase W9 from vendors and prepare 1099 workings.
  • Tax return reconciliation.
  • Review sales entries on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Respond to emails within 48 hours.
  • Deliver AP reports to clients in a timely manner.
  • Meet internal month-end closing deadlines (financials).
  • Train new team members and assist them in settling.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and systems.
  • Be open to learning new processes and working on new roles as assigned.
  • Attend all internal training/development sessions for personal/business growth.
  • Mentor and train associates in day-to-day operations.
