About this Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Test Automation Specialist to own test automation across end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines.

You will be responsible for writing code, shipping clean tests, eliminating flaky ones, and enabling seamless shipping without breaking the build.

Main Responsibilities:

  • BUILD robust UI test flows using Playwright
  • Explore innovative AI tools to enhance QA processes
  • Automate backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalents
  • Develop smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks
  • Integrate all automated tests into GitHub pipelines for auto-validation
  • Debug failing builds, isolate bugs, and log them quickly and accurately
  • Synchronize with developers, product managers, and releases to stay ahead of schedule
  • Maintain test data and manage test environments

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools
  • Solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is beneficial
  • Exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems is desirable
