We are seeking an expert System Administrator to join our team, someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and driving innovation. As a System Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.


The Role

As a System Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the health of our systems, including SCOM consoles, managing administrative tasks, and providing application support for the SCOM platform. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining monitoring and notification rules, reviewing and updating SCOM console security, applying patches, and updating rollup.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage SCOM consoles, perform administrative tasks, and provide application support for the SCOM platform.
  • Create and maintain monitoring and notification rules, review and update SCOM console security, apply patches, and update rollup.
  • Deliver SCOM views via Remote Desktop Web Access, create custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services, and provide problem resolution for SCOM components and related custom scripts.
  • Troubleshoot agents (Windows & Linux) reporting issues, upgrade, migrate, and manage database migration of existing SCOM infra.
  • Install Management Packs, custom Management Packs, and management pack tuning as needed.
  • Handle and manage issues with SCOM management servers, SSRS server, and SCOM database server, and provide training to SCOM L1 engineers.

Required Skills
  • Onboard devices (Windows & Linux) and applications into monitoring, troubleshoot agent communication issues, and manage Patch Manager Plus.
  • Perform administrative level tasks, manage compliance reports, scheduling patch reports, and manage user's management and assign role permissions.
  • Work on change management & incident management to raise and close change & incident requests, and manage Power Bi Gateway service.
