Production Support Expert Wanted

We are currently looking for an experienced SRE Engineer to join our RingSense team. As a key member of our Solutions Engineering Team, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support for production environments, troubleshooting, managing and resolving incidents, performing root cause analysis, and facilitating blameless post-mortems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for production environments, including troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Actively contribute to production stability improvements, including process improvements.
  • Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD related pipelines and automations.
  • Understand the architecture of our services and products.
  • Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
  • Interact with internal customers, including Developers, QA, and OPS/SRE teams.
  • Work with other teams responsible for Infrastructure, Networking, Applications Engineering, and Information Security.
  • Continuously improve and share knowledge of systems, update documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as an Operations Engineer or similar role of 1+ years.
  • Linux knowledge.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of monitoring domains and SaaS approaches.
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of one or more configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Experience in implementing and operating monitoring systems in large-scale, heterogeneous, and fast-growing environments.
  • Ability to work in a diverse multicultural environment, communicating with globally distributed teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Team player with self-start ability.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of one of the programming languages.
  • B.S in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of related experience.

Preferred Skills:
  • Solid knowledge and strong experience in production support activities.
  • Understanding of SRE principles and DevOPS practices.
  • Troubleshooting process understanding and experience.
  • Experience as a Linux System Administrator at least 2-3 years.
  • Key Skills for Kubernetes (K8s) DevOps: understanding of networking, security, storage.
  • AWS cloud experience (IAM, VPC, R53, AZs, EC2/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch).
  • Understanding of Real-time Data Streaming (Kafka).
  • Understanding of Basic Concepts of Elasticsearch (Node, Cluster, Index, Document, Shard, Replicas).
  • RDBMS administration experience (PostgreSQL/AuroraDB preferably) or MySQL.
  • Experience working with GIT, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, Helm.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and ability to implement deployment activities automation.
  • Familiar with application and service monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • English - Intermediate (B1).
