About the Role

Seeking a highly skilled Scriptwriter who can transform creative briefs, storyboards, and loose ideas into compelling narratives. This individual will work at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution—writing engaging brand content that feels real, inspiring, and unforgettable.

Candidates with prior experience in creative agencies or having directed branded content will find this role fitting. The ideal candidate will write with both a cinematic eye and a production mind, understanding how each line translates to screen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write captivating scripts for various content types: reels, testimonials, brand videos, motion explainers, interviews, and campus documentaries
  • Collaborate with content strategists and producers to turn ideas into emotionally resonant narratives
  • Polish and rewrite scripts drafted by internal teams, aligning them with best storytelling practices
  • Ensure pacing, flow, tone, and messaging match both audience and platform
  • Participate in directional planning, blocking, and shoot scripting when needed
  • Guide VO recordings, scene transitions, and editing cues through script structure
  • Become an expert in building story structures and creative templates for recurring formats
What You Bring
  • A minimum of 3–6 years of experience as a scriptwriter / copywriter / screenwriter, preferably in creative agencies or branded content studios
  • Experience in the Tech and EdTech domains is a plus
  • Experience in video direction or co-directing campaigns is a strong plus
  • A solid grasp of structure, emotional flow, narrative layering, and dialogue authenticity
  • Visual thinking skills—a great writer should know how their words will move on screen, not just sit on paper
  • The ability to write for different platforms (YouTube, Reels, Docs, Social Ads) and audiences (students, parents, professionals)
  • Familiarity with regional stories and cultural nuances is a significant asset
  • Bonus: Experience working closely with editors, cinematographers, or designers
